Space Bags – Big Vacuum Seal Bags – Save Big Space
Space Bags are the best solution for people who don’t have enough storage space. This includes almost everybody. These nifty bags are in fact zip-locking vacuum-seal bags which can be coupled to an ordinary vacuum cleaner hose, thanks to a special valve. The valve was constructed so that air can be removed from the bag, but prevents it from getting inside again, when the hose is removed.
The material is quite durable and in most of the cases the bags can be used more than once. As such bags come in various sizes, from small to Jumbo or XL, they can be used for the storage of virtually any clothing item from shirts, sweaters or jackets to blankets or pillows. Besides of the smaller storage space advantage, Space Bags are also an excellent way of keeping dust and bugs away from the clothes you don’t use for a longer period of time. We use one of these XL Space Bags to store our comforter during summer, and we are very pleased that it takes maybe a third of the storage space it would need without getting vacuumed in such a bag. Actually all our linen items are vacuumed in separate Space Bags, for more convenience in use.
Another situation in which we were pleased to use vacuum seal bags was when packing for longer trips: we could accommodate much more clothes than we used to, with the only disadvantage that the luggage became a lot heavier, thus making it more difficult to handle. We had to be more cautious when seal-vacuuming, so the bags could still be lifted when needed. In terms of price, we found Space Bags to be affordable. For instance, a set of two extra large storage bags costs $13.99, which is actually pretty cheap.
