Snuggie Review – Not just A Plain Old Blanket
The As Seen On TV Snuggie is a blanket, but not an ordinary one. It has sleeves, therefore it keeps you warm while leaving your arms free to do household chores or to handle the remote control of your TV set. We found it comfortable to have something that keeps warm while allowing the freedom of moving around the house without feeling the cold. The Snuggie is made of polyester fleece and it covers the body completely, from neck to toes, thus keeping your body heated even when you need to work on your computer, read a book or answer the phone. Its large sleeves don’t restrict your freedom of movement. Believe it or not, I’m even cooking while wearing my Snuggie.
Being machine washable, I don’t have to worry too much of getting it dirty. Snuggies are available in three color choices: burgundy red, royal blue and sage green. I personally prefer the red one, but I have to admit that the other colors are also beautiful and pleasant to the eye. There’s only one size available, but it really fits all, so the whole family can wear it. Some people say that such a blanket with sleeves is useless, as if you are cold, all you need to do is raise the temperature in your home and wear lighter clothes. However, they forget that this would also raise the electricity bills. Even if you can afford to pay the extra amount, why waste the money, when you could have the As Seen On TV Snuggie keep you warm for only $19.95? You’ll get two of them in this price, so I think it’s relatively cheap. If you have children, you can buy them a Snuglette, which is a Snuggie for kids, as the original one may be much too big for their size. It’s also made of fleece, super soft and warm.
