H20 Steam Mop – Worth the money?

The H2O Steam Mop is a modern and efficient floor cleaning tool that works exclusively with water as cleaning agent. The fact that it doesn’t use any detergents for cleaning makes it environmentally friendly, this being an important edge these days when our planet is endangered by pollution and green house effect. The H2O steam mop uses a steam jet for cleaning, steam obtained by heating the water in a special tank, directed through a nozzle onto the surface to be cleaned. It cleans pretty much any kind of sealed surface such as hardwood, ceramic tile, marble, parquet or linoleum.

It can also be used on carpets, thanks to a special glider rim that attaches to the microfiber pad, allowing it to glide on the carpet’s surface. My dogs bring a lot of dirt in the house, and I was very pleased to see how easy it is to clean using this revolutionary mop. Before that, I used to do a lot of scrubbing, thus causing pains in my knees. With the H2O Steam Mop, I don’t need to do that hard work anymore. What I appreciated most was the swivel head and the triangle shaped pad which enable reaching even difficult corners. Specialists say that hot steam kills the germs such as Salmonella, dust mites or e.coli, so it not only cleans but also sanitizes surfaces. This is a great benefit when you have a baby crawling all over the house or when you suffer from allergy to dust. I’m even using it to clean and disinfect my kitchen counter, thus making sure it’s safe to put food directly on it. Of course I use a separate disposable pad when I use it for the counter, because I wouldn’t be comfortable with the idea of using the same pad I’m cleaning the floors with. I also appreciated that it didn’t leave any streaks on the floors, as I’m a bit obsessed with perfection.

The H2O Steam Mop’s 1500 watt power is enough to blow away even stubborn, hardened dirt around the cooking machine. In case of thick, hardened grease, you may still need to do a little scrubbing, but far less than in case of using a regular mop for cleaning the floor. Taking into consideration that it uses solely tap water for cleaning, this steam mop is definitely worth the price, as it’s going to save us all that money we had to spend of chemicals and disinfectants. However, if for some reason, within 30 days from purchase you decide that the H2O Steam Mop is not performing as you expected it to, you can return it and get your money back.
