Stealth SSA Ear Piece

If your hearing is poor, but you’re ashamed to wear those prosthetic devices that are visible and annoying, you may want to consider the  Stealth SSA, a sound amplifier which looks like a Bluetooth cell phone ear piece. You’ll be able to hear conversations around you without revealing your secret, as many people wear those ear pieces permanently, for the case that they may get an incoming call.

The  Stealth SSA is comfortable, thanks to its soft foam handle that adjusts to your ear in such a way that you may even forget you are wearing the device. For better fit, the hearing aid comes with three soft tips in different sizes, so you can choose the best one for you and wear it at your right or left ear, as you wish. Another feature I appreciated in this device is the fact that it comes with a rechargeable battery and with a charger. I used to break many other similar devices when trying to replace their batteries, so I’m happy with this one I don’t have to. One of the best uses I’ve found for this product is watching TV with low volume at night, when everybody in the house is sleeping and I don’t want to disturb them. I believe the sound amplifier is very efficient in silent places, but when it comes to crowded or very noisy environments, it may even become harmful, as it amplifies all sounds, not only the whisper you’d like to hear from the first time. The volume is adjustable, but still it’s better to avoid wearing it at concerts or sports events. Priced at less that $30, Stealth SSA is a good value for money, but I’d advise anybody suffering from hearing impairment to consult their doctor before purchasing this As Seen On TV product, to see if their condition won’t get worsen by wearing such a sound amplifier.
